Amazon Flex / OTR issues
Quick checks for app problems and delivery issues while you are on the road.
App frozen, crashing or not opening
Close and reopen the app, check your connection, then restart the phone if needed. Check for official app and phone updates when safe. On Android, clearing the app cache may help.
During an active route, ask your Site Manager or Driver Support before signing out, clearing app storage/data or reinstalling. These steps can remove local information or interrupt your work.
No signal, GPS or wrong location
Check mobile data and the app’s location permission. Move to a safe open area if coverage is poor. Check precise location is enabled where required. If the GPS pin or delivery area is wrong, ONLY IF YOU ARE SURE YOU ARE AT THE CORRECT DELIVERY LOCATION, tap ? → GPS not working in the app and continue with the delivery that way. Check the address and delivery instructions first. If you are unsure or still cannot continue, contact Driver Support through the app and tell your Site Manager.
Cannot sign in, missing route or account problem
Check you are using the correct authorised account and have a connection. Tell your Site Manager if your assigned route is missing or incorrect. Use Amazon’s official account help for sign-in or access problems. Do not create another account or use someone else’s login.
Parcel will not scan, photo will not upload or stop will not complete
Check the correct parcel and stop, clean the camera lens and check camera permission. Retry once safely with a stable connection. If it still fails, note the exact error and contact your Site Manager / in-app Driver Support. Do not select a false outcome to close the stop.
AVD, OTP or customer unavailable
Do not hand over a parcel until its required verification is complete. Never scan or photograph customer ID, guess an age or OTP, accept a code remotely, or leave restricted deliveries unattended. Use the current app’s contact/help options and ask for support if you cannot complete the required checks.
Get the right help
Urgent route issue: call your Site Manager now. For Amazon app/account/route controls, use the help option in the app; while delivering, Amazon’s UK support guide describes ? → Call Driver Support.
