Lowe Driver Hub · Legal & permissions
Terms of use, intellectual property and content permissions.
Last updated: 28 October 2026
Content-permission provisions effective from 28 October 2026. These terms replace the previous website terms for future use.
Written approval is required before workplace reuse.
Organisations must email sam@lowedriverhub.dev and receive Sam Lowe’s express written approval before using this hub as an internal training resource or copying, printing, screenshotting for distribution, adapting or sharing its protected material internally. Sending a request, receiving an automated reply or accepting these terms is not approval.
1. About these terms
Lowe Driver Hub at lowedriverhub.dev (the “Website”) is operated by Sam Lowe (“we”, “us”, “our”). These terms explain the conditions on which we make the Website and its materials available. Read them before using the Website. If you do not agree, stop using it. A separate written licence, where issued, takes priority for the specific use it covers.
2. Access and acceptable use
Individuals may browse publicly available pages for their own personal reference. This does not grant an organisation permission to adopt the hub for its training, onboarding or operational programmes. Organisational use requires the approval described in section 4.
Use the Website lawfully. Do not interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, obtain unauthorised access, misuse accounts, harvest personal information, send spam or infringe another person’s rights. Account access does not transfer ownership of any material or authorise redistribution.
3. Intellectual property and Charlie
Except where otherwise identified, we reserve all intellectual property rights that we own or are entitled to license in the Website’s original written guides, training resources, illustrations, layouts, designs, software and other materials, including their selection and arrangement. Relevant rights remain with Sam Lowe or the applicable rights holder. No ownership is transferred to visitors.
Charlie / Checklist Charlie
Charlie’s artwork was created for Lowe Driver Hub using OpenAI’s ChatGPT image-generation tools, under Sam Lowe’s direction. The site’s Charlie artwork, adaptations and presentation form part of its materials. We reserve any copyright and other rights that subsist in those materials and that we own or control, including rights in original human contributions and the overall selection and arrangement.
AI assistance does not give visitors permission to copy our material. Equally, we do not claim exclusive rights in an AI technique, general character idea, ordinary facts, third-party material or independently created similar output. The existence and scope of protection depend on applicable law. References to ChatGPT identify the tool used; they do not imply OpenAI endorsement.
Unless your written licence permits it or the law allows it, do not extract or reuse Charlie’s artwork, remove copyright notices or branding, pass our materials off as your own, or imply an affiliation or endorsement.
4. Written permission and internal use
Email sam@lowedriverhub.dev and wait for express written approval from Sam Lowe before starting. Tell us your organisation, intended audience, materials requested, proposed use, distribution method and period of use.
Unless the written approval states otherwise, any permission granted is limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable, and covers only the named organisation, approved materials, purpose, audience and period. Internal distribution means sharing only with the approved organisation’s authorised staff or contractors for the approved purpose.
- Retain Lowe Driver Hub attribution, source links, rights notices and any conditions specified in the approval.
- Do not sell, sublicense, publish publicly, share with another organisation, upload to a public platform or repurpose the material outside the approved scope.
- Do not adapt, translate, rebrand or incorporate materials into another product or training library unless expressly approved.
- Obtain fresh approval before expanding the use. Any fee or other licence condition must be expressly agreed; these terms do not impose an automatic licence fee.
Ordinary links to public pages do not transfer any rights. Circulating links as part of an organisational training programme still requires approval for that programme. These rules apply to protected material in any format, including screenshots, photographs, recordings, printouts, downloads, presentations and messaging groups. Public availability, free access, crediting the source or accepting terms does not itself authorise reuse.
Acceptance of these terms and a licence to reuse content are separate. Neither an acceptance button nor a screenshot capability, if provided, grants distribution rights. Any breach or withdrawal of a licence will be handled in accordance with that licence and applicable law.
5. Fair dealing and third-party rights
Nothing in these terms excludes a statutory copyright exception, fair dealing or another right that cannot lawfully be restricted. Whether an exception applies depends on the facts, purpose and extent of the use. “Internal”, “educational”, “non-commercial” or “fair use” is not, by itself, a blanket permission to copy. Where the law permits use without permission, comply with its conditions and provide acknowledgement where required.
Third-party names, trade marks, logos, photographs, documentation and linked resources remain subject to their owners’ rights and licences. Our permission covers only rights we can grant and does not replace any third-party permission you need. We do not claim ownership of Amazon, Spotted Bee, Mubea, OpenAI or other third-party brands or materials.
6. Unauthorised use and enforcement
Use outside a valid permission may breach these terms and, where protected rights are infringed and no exception applies, may constitute intellectual property infringement. We may request removal, cessation of use and preservation of relevant evidence, restrict access where appropriate, and pursue remedies available under applicable law.
Depending on the circumstances, remedies may include an injunction, damages or an account of profits and recoverable legal costs. Certain deliberate copyright infringements can also constitute criminal offences and may be referred to the relevant authorities. We do not assert that every unauthorised use is criminal or that a fixed penalty, prosecution or particular recovery is automatic.
To report suspected copying, email the page or material concerned, the location of the suspected copy and any relevant evidence to sam@lowedriverhub.dev. Avoid sending unnecessary personal or customer information.
7. Feedback, submissions and privacy
Submit only material you are entitled to share. We use feedback and support submissions to operate the hub and respond to requests. A review is displayed publicly only where the reviewer separately agrees to public display. We may remove unlawful or inappropriate submissions.
Our Privacy Policy explains personal-information handling and data-protection rights. Acceptance of these terms is not consent to optional cookies or marketing; those choices must be made separately. Do not submit passwords, verification codes, customer ID images or unnecessary delivery information.
8. Guidance and external services
The hub provides general reference and training support. It does not replace current law, official app instructions, your employer’s or fleet’s requirements, professional advice or site-specific training. Verify guidance before relying on it. Stop safely and contact your own site manager for urgent operational issues.
We aim to keep the hub useful but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every item is complete, current or suitable for a particular situation. External links are provided for reference; their operators control their content and policies. A link does not imply endorsement.
9. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Website. Subject to the protections above and only where legally enforceable, our total liability arising from the Website is limited to £100. This provision does not impose a charge on visitors or set damages for infringement.
10. Changes and access
We may update these terms and will identify the revised date on this page. Changes apply prospectively and do not retrospectively alter a separately agreed licence. Where a change requires fresh agreement, we will seek it through an appropriate process. We may update or withdraw Website features and restrict access for misuse, subject to applicable law and any separate agreement.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. For business users, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. Consumers retain mandatory protections and any right to bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where they live. Please contact us first so that we can try to resolve a concern.
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply so far as the law permits. A delay in enforcing a right does not by itself waive it.
