Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026

This notice explains how personal information is used when you browse lowedriverhub.dev, contact us, register an account or use its private workspace.

1. Who is responsible

Sam Lowe operates Lowe Driver Hub and is responsible for personal information used to run the public website, administer its accounts and handle website enquiries. Contact: sam@lowedriverhub.dev.

Your delivery company also has responsibilities for the staff and operational information it supplies and uses in the private workspace. Ask your company for its staff privacy notice and the arrangements that apply to its records. You may contact Sam for help identifying the appropriate contact.

2. What we use and why

  • Browsing and security: technical information such as IP address, browser, device, requested pages and security logs supports delivery, security and troubleshooting of the website. We rely on legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, subject to your rights.
  • Enquiries and feedback: messages, ratings, optional contact details, optional company/site information and attachments you choose to send are used to respond, resolve issues and improve the hub. We rely on legitimate interests in handling those requests. If you choose public display of a review, that permission is handled separately and may be withdrawn by contacting us.
  • Accounts: registration collects name, email, optional phone/TPID, company and site selection, and authentication information. A manager must verify assignments before personal performance data is linked. Information is used to administer authorised access and support the account, based on legitimate interests in secure service administration.
  • Terms acknowledgement: where an acceptance step is provided, this browser stores the terms version, acceptance time and method to remember your acknowledgement. No login is required and this is not an identity-verified acceptance record. This record is not permission to redistribute content and is not consent to optional processing.
  • Private workspace: company-supplied account/site assignments, imported performance figures, test answers and scores, attempt history, coaching actions, manager review notes and account/access logs support training and performance review. These records may come from your company, its authorised managers or your own activity. The relevant company must explain the lawful basis for its workplace use in its staff notice.
  • Optional analytics: usage information may help assess which pages are useful. Where consent is required, optional analytics must remain subject to your cookie choices.
  • Legal obligations and disputes: relevant information may be used where necessary to meet a legal obligation or for legitimate interests in establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.

We do not use website activity or scores alone to automatically decide pay, work offers or disciplinary outcomes. Recorded viewing time does not prove understanding. Manager review remains necessary for operational decisions.

Registration fields marked required are needed to process an account request; optional fields are identified on the form. If required details are not provided, we cannot complete registration. Providing public feedback is optional.

3. Providers, access and international processing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be available to service providers needed to host, secure and maintain the website, deliver communications and supply analytics where enabled. The website uses WordPress and Hostinger hosting; Google Analytics is listed in its optional cookie controls. Authorised service providers and administrators may process information for these purposes.

Drivers can view their own records and explicitly published site summaries. Authorised managers have access within their assigned sites; the platform administrator administers the workspace. Passwords are not displayed to managers. Submitted report files are used for import and are not intended for publication in the media library.

Opening an external video or link may disclose technical information to that provider, including Amazon, Mubea, Google/YouTube or another linked publisher. Its own privacy and cookie notices apply. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary for a legal claim.

Processing locations depend on the provider and service configuration and may include countries outside the UK. Where a restricted transfer occurs, applicable UK transfer requirements must be met, for example through adequacy regulations or appropriate contractual safeguards. Contact sam@lowedriverhub.dev for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your records. This notice does not assert that all processing stays in the UK or EEA.

4. How long information is kept

Retention depends on the type of record and its purpose. We use the following criteria rather than one period for every record:

  • Enquiries and feedback: for handling the request, resolving follow-up issues and retaining a proportionate record of the outcome. Public reviews remain subject to the separate display permission.
  • Accounts and workspace records: while needed for authorised access, training, review, correction of disputed results and the relevant company’s record-keeping requirements. Suspension or a pause in access does not itself delete records.
  • Terms acknowledgement: the browser record remains until you clear site data or it is replaced by acceptance of a newer terms version. Access logs are separate and retained according to security and dispute-resolution needs.
  • Technical logs and backups: for proportionate security, troubleshooting and recovery needs, subject to the provider’s retention and backup arrangements.

Records should not be kept longer than their continuing purpose or an applicable legal requirement justifies. Ask us or your company about the criteria applicable to a particular record. Erasure requests are assessed individually; an access suspension is not an erasure request.

5. Your rights and how to contact us

Depending on the lawful basis and circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Email sam@lowedriverhub.dev, describing the record and request. Do not send identity documents unless a secure, proportionate identity check is requested. We normally respond within one calendar month; permitted extensions or identity checks can affect timing, and we will explain any applicable delay.

You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We welcome the opportunity to address a concern first, but this does not prevent you contacting the regulator.

6. Cookies and browser preferences

Use the site’s Cookie Preferences control to review the available categories. Necessary cookies support essential functions such as security, login and remembering cookie choices. Optional statistics/analytics choices are separate. You can also manage stored data in your browser.

Reading mode and guide choices may be stored on this device. Shared work phones can retain another reader’s settings; use Reset reading choices. External players may have their own storage and privacy terms. Accepting website terms is not an analytics-cookie choice.

7. Security and changes

We use access controls and other technical and organisational measures appropriate to the service. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Report suspected misuse without sending passwords or private customer data.

Changes will be shown with an updated date. Where a new purpose requires further information or consent, that must be addressed separately. See also our Terms & Conditions and Sources & credits.
