How to Use E-Mentor
E-Mentor is used to monitor safe driving performance throughout your route. You must log into E-Mentor every time you complete an Amazon route. Failing to log in will negatively impact your adoption rate, affect your scorecard, and may make you ineligible for performance bonuses.
Using a Second Device
For the best possible E-Mentor score, we strongly recommend using a second device.
Using your main phone while drivingโeven if you’re answering a call using hands-freeโcan register as Phone Distraction, which can significantly reduce your E-Mentor score.
Getting Started
- Turn on the hotspot on your main phone.
- Connect your second device to the hotspot.
- Open the E-Mentor app and log in using your email address and password.
- Tap Begin Trip.
- Wait approximately one minute for the trip to initialise, then you can disconnect the hotspot if required.
- Secure your second device somewhere safe where it won’t move around, such as:
- In the sun visor slot.
- Wedged securely between the seats.
- In another secure location where it cannot slide or fall.
During Your Route
- Log into E-Mentor before leaving home or before setting off from your first stop.
- Complete at least two hours of driving before ending your trip. If you’re working in an area with poor mobile signal, you may need to drive for longer before uploading.
- At the end of your route, finish the trip and upload it.
If your trip doesn’t upload successfully, don’t worry. Connect to Wi-Fi when you get home and try uploading again.
Fantastic Performance
To achieve Fantastic, you should aim for an E-Mentor score of 810 or above.
If your score falls below 780, notify your Site Manager as soon as possible. In some circumstances, they may be able to arrange for your account to be reset, preventing a poor score from affecting your overall performance.
Don’t Have an E-Mentor Account?
If you haven’t received your E-Mentor login details, speak to your Site Manager before your next route so your account can be created and activated.
Still Unsure?
If you have any questions about E-Mentor or experience any issues using the app, speak to your Site Manager. You can also revisit this guide at any time to refresh your knowledge and continue improving your driving performance.
